- COS 125: The Art and Science of Computer ProgrammingThis course is an introduction to computer science for students with little or no previous experience with the topic. Students will learn to read, write, and reason about computer programs. In particular, they will learn about data types, conditionals, loops, arrays, functions, graphics and sound.
- COS 589: Extramural Summer Research ProjectSummer research project designed in conjunction with the student's advisor and an industrial, NGO, or government sponsor that will provide practical experience relevant to the student's research area. Start date no earlier than June 1. A final paper is required.
