This course brings together writings on slavery, colonialism, and genocide to explore the epistemological, necropenological, and politico-economic conditions mobilized to render a condition of 'non-humanity' of those 'otherized' by colonizers. This course explores what it means to inhabit a Fanonian 'zone of nonbeing' as well as to practice anti-colonial feminist resistance that invests in life and livability against the permanence of otherness.
