Intensive Third-year Modern Chinese II

A four-week summer intensive language course, which is a continuation of CHI 305C, conducted online via Zoom. This course is designed to further improve each student's facility in written and oral expression through a close study of essays written by influential Chinese intellectuals. Essay topics include issues of women's emancipation, family systems, and modernization. The course consists of five two-hour synchronous classes and five one-hour individual tutorial sessions weekly.
