Introduction to Microeconomics

Economics studies the allocation of scarce resources. Microeconomics focuses on the decisions made by individual consumers and producers, the interactions between them and the resulting markets. We will consider a variety of market structures ranging from perfect competition to monopoly. We also will discuss the rationale for government involvement in market activity.
