The course is focused on compressible and incompressible inviscid fluid flow. Compressible subsonic and supersonic flows are studied in the first half of the course. The remaining portion of the semester addresses low-speed, incompressible fluid flows and aerodynamics of two and three-dimensional wings and bodies. Concepts of thrust, lift and drag are introduced and applied.
