Extramural Research Project

A research project designed in conjunction with the student's advisor and an industrial, NGO, or government sponsor that provides practical experience relevant to the student's thesis topic. The full- time research project is conducted at the host institution. A final paper is required. Enrollment is limited to post-Generals students and requires the support of both the student's advisor and the Director of Graduate Studies. The course does not count toward the post-Generals course requirement.
