This course focuses on central concepts of immunobiology. Topics include innate immunity, activation of the adaptive immune system, generation of diverse antigen receptors, antigen processing and presentation, establishment of immune tolerance, immune cell signaling, mucosal immunity, and cancer immunology. A major goal of the overall course is to increase proficiency in parsing and critically discussing papers from the primary literature.
