Info tab content
This course covers foundational topics associated with the thermodynamics and kinetics of phase transformations in materials, with an eye towards applications in areas such as microelectronics & computing, advanced manufacturing, and energy storage. A combination of thermodynamics principles, mathematical modeling, and experimental observations are used to understand how materials transform between states with different physical and chemical properties.
