Info tab content
The seminar studies Aristotle's views about sleep, dreams, and divination through dreams, focusing on the relevant treatises of the Parva Naturalia. Special attention is given to the applications of the matter/form distinction and of Aristotle's theory of the four causes. We are also interested in the relationship between these treatises of the Parva Naturalia and the scientific psychology of the De Anima.
