Info tab content
This seminar engages in political changes observed in Latin America. The region continues to be perceived as one of high growth potential, on the account of demographics, natural resources, and democratic values. However, data on violence, poverty, and inequality present a region lagging behind. The incapacity of reforms to tackle needs of the population, has resulted in a wave of neo-populism with a large role played by social media. We examine polling and electoral results and data analytics of social media. Also, we invite Latin American leaders to discuss about political scenarios and the potential for critical reforms.
