This course guides students toward preparing a policy brief. The client for this policy brief is the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations (UN) Migration Agency. The course asks: What indicators and tools should IOM and its partners use to anticipate forced displacement? Gathering and analyzing data focused on early warning systems and how to identify the indicators associated with an increased likelihood of forced displacement occurring. Working to answer the question 'When does displacement end?'.
