Introduction to reading and writing about the research literature for international graduate students from non-English speaking institutions. Topics include academic integrity and effective source use, how researchers work with the academic literature as both readers and writers, how research articles are constructed and interpreted, how research findings are presented, and how quantitative arguments are developed. Two 80-minute seminars per week.
