Directed Research I (Half-Term)

Under the supervision of a faculty member, students carry out research on a directed topic and present results. For an independent project, students must identify a supervising faculty member and submit a written plan for research and evaluation which must be approved by the supervising faculty member and director of graduate studies by October 15. Otherwise, all second-year students will register for one of several groups that meet weekly and receive a grade of P/F from the two faculty assigned to that section.
