It will be an exploratory and hands-on course in the use of physical scenery as a way to tell a story, introducing you to the processes and tools of scenic design as a way of gaining greater understanding of theatrical texts. Over the course of the semester, you will be introduced to a process of interpreting ideas, conceiving and designing physical environments for the stage, television and live events.
