An intensive, full immersion course in Spanish language and Argentine history, culture, and art. Students develop advanced language skills while studying language in context, through the exploration of the city of Buenos Aires, its architecture, museums, and cultural and political life. Through a variety of materials, including short stories, films, journalistic pieces, blogs, guided visits, etc., students engage in critical discussions on cultural meanings and social relations, Writing assignments enhance students' ability to convey complex ideas in Spanish. Oral skills are developed by means of collaborative research projects.
