Class of 2025 student Dylan Epstein-Gross named Goldwater Scholar

Dylan Epstein-Gross, Class of 2025, has been awarded a Goldwater Scholarship, an annual award which "recognizes outstanding undergraduates interested in careers in the sciences, engineering and mathematics."

The scholarship program was created as part of the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation established by Congress in 1986 in honor of Senator Barry Goldwater. This year, 438 scholarship recipients were selected across the United States. 

Epstein-Gross, from Tallahassee, Florida, is a computer science major who is pursuing a minor in statistics and machine learning and a certificate in robotics and intelligent systems. After graduating from Princeton, he hopes to earn a Ph.D. in robotics with a research focus on system safety and sustainability.

On campus, Epstein-Gross is a member of Butler College and a recipient of the George B. Wood Legacy Sophomore Prize for exceptional academic achievement. He tutors computer science at the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning and holds leadership positions in Hack4Impact and the Data Science Club.
