Kudos for Mike Carson, Michael Levant, Kathy Apgar, Robin Perkins, Bernard Lyons, Eloy Gooden, George Piccinetti:

Dear Mike C., Mike L., Kathy, Bernard, Robin, Eloy, and George, 

On behalf of University Advancement, please accept my deepest gratitude for your excellent work on the new Meadows Campus Celebration events last Friday.

This complex event, including five separate dedication ceremonies – two of which were outdoors – a seated luncheon presided over by President Eisgruber, three neighborhood tours, two chalk talks with coaches, four separate Friends of Athletics gatherings, and a concluding evening reception within very tight timelines, posed many challenges. All these components and their challenges were met exceedingly well, resulting in an extremely well-executed, successful event, thanks in no small part to all of you. 

Mike and Mike, it’s always a pleasure to have you by my side at events. I completely trust your work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to lead your coworkers in getting any job done efficiently, professionally, and with good cheer! Thank you both and kindly extend my appreciation to your coworkers who also helped onsite. 

Kathy, you have been an excellent partner on most of my demanding events for many years and are always a huge help!  Thank you once again for your willingness to assist in any way, which I greatly appreciate.  

Bernard, I can’t stress enough how important you and your team are. Not getting materials and rentals moved to the right places at the right times, can paralyze our efforts. Please know all you and your coworkers coordinated for last Friday’s event was perfect!  Thank you all. 

Robin, lastly, I thank you for your crucial oversight and support behind-the-scenes, which is key to bringing University events to successful fruition!
