Jordan Giovacchini, a mason in the Mason Shop, has been elected to the Council of the Princeton University Community(Link is external) (Link opens in new window) (CPUC) for 2024-25. As a staff representative, Giovacchini will be a voting member of the CPUC along with other faculty members, students, alumni and administrative staff.

The CPUC was chartered in May of 1969 as “a permanent conference of the representatives of all major groups of the University” where “they could each raise problems that concern them and … be exposed to each other’s views.” Meetings usually occur six times a year.

“I am proud to be a representative for the Facilities members who are an integral part of this campus.” Giovacchini said. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to serve my community.”

Elections are held each year to select the new members of the council and meetings are open to all members of the university community.
