Registration Lottery Open for BYCTWD 2025!

Bring Your Child to Work Day (BYCTWD) is back for 2025! The event will be held on Thursday, April 24, from 8 am to 4 pm. This coincides with the nationally recognized day.

Kids will have a full day of hands-on, enriching activities lead by volunteers from across Facilities and the University. Last year’s highlights included a bird house building activity in our Carpentry Shop, a tour of the TIGER facility, an updated view and discussion of the ES & SEAS construction project that allowed returning children to see the progress over the past year, and planting trees with our landscape team along Woodlands Way. The day was capped off with the Facilities Expo in Jadwin Gym Lobby where multiple Facilities shops and departments had interactive stations.

The event this year is being planned for children in grades third through tenth. Since capacity is limited, a registration lottery will be held. Each employee can enter the lottery to register up to three children. Lottery entries are due by April1 and parents will be notified well in advance of the event if they’ve received a spot.

Last year’s event hosted more than 95 children thanks to volunteers from across Facilities. We look forward to a successful and engaging day again this year. See sights from last year in the following gallery!
